If there’s anything I dislike more than sequels it’s prequels. A prequel is like hearing a story from someone who’s a horrible storyteller and forgot to tell you the beginning. When it comes to literature, I’ve always seen prequels as authors telling you the first part of a joke after they’ve told you the punch line. In any case, I try not to read them.
